Frivolous purchase??

I don't do this very often with expensive items, but I just bought this for myself:

It is a replica of a female hoffmann's two-toed sloth skull. I'm thinking of it as like a Halloween present to myself?? I'm going to use it both as an art reference and as a decorative piece in my house...
